DAC Lincospectin 20%

Lincospectin 20% High concentrated, extra strong. As a treatment for pigeons and large cage birds in common.
Indication: infections of the airway and the gastrointestinal tract caused by bacteria susceptible to Lincomycin and Spectinomycin.

Symptoms:    
Combining the active ingredients in Lincomycin and Spectinomycin has a synergistic effect, making Lincospectin 20% suitable for treatment of airway problems (Mycoplasma Spp.).
Symptoms of Mycoplasma infections include: reduced performance, dirty cere and eye rims, erect feathers near the ears, wet eyes and breathing with open beak.

Lincospectin 20% is also used in Adeno-coli Syndrome cases for the purpose of fighting the Coli infections as well as the secondary infections that can occur in Adeno-coli Syndrome.
Symptoms of E-coli/Adeno infections include: excessive drinking, bad appetite, vomiting and water thin diarrhoea.     
    
Dosage:  

• Preventive during the racing-season: 1 measuring spoon (= 5 g) for 40-50 pigeons (2 liters drinking water) or 20 kgs live-weight during at least
  2 x 24 hours days, every 2 weeks, preferable starting the day after the race.

• As a treatment: 1 measuring spoon (= 5 g) for 40-50 pigeons (2 liters drinking water) or 20 kgs live-weight during 7 successive days.
  This cure may be repeated, if necessary, after a few days.
